Fee Schedule

Application Fee
The application fee is $750.00 + GST [with the exception of EC-34-14].
Applications for products under EC-34-14 will be charged $1,500.00 + GST.

Verification Fees

All applicants must undergo an initial on-site verification and subsequent supervision verifications on a regular basis (generally once per year). In many cases, the supervision verifications alternate each year between an on-site verification and a desktop-based records review. These checks are done by an independent auditor and will be charged at cost + 5% (administration fee).

The cost of verification varies depending on such things as the number of products to be licenced, the location of manufacturing facilities, type of verification (on-site or records review) and the preparedness of the applicant/licensee. An estimate will be given prior to the commencement of the verification.

Based on the declared annual net sales value** of all products which are licensed, as follows:

** Net sales value is the total value invoiced, less any discounts, of the product which is licensed to use the Environmental Choice New Zealand label
